Yoder Signs & Designs has been a family-run sign shop since 1982, when fine artist Lynda Yoder first learned hand lettering and grew the business with her late husband Woody. Today Lynda continues the tradition alongside her daughter and son-in-law, Julianne and James Hays, blending decades of hand-crafted artistry with modern computer design and large-format printing. Known throughout South Central Michigan for personal service and custom design with a little extra flair, Yoder Signs works out of Grass Lake and, as of 2025, a second location in Hillsdale, Michigan.

What customers say
They were great to work with. Came right out to me. Showed a few options and gave me the expert insight necessary that I couldn't have gotten had I just ordered a window cling online. They even came out and completed the installation of the window cling! Bonus!!! I wasn't expecting that but it was so nice. And to top it all off I was in a bit of a hurry, they completed it in the time frame I needed it by. Definitely worth using local.
Thank you for the nice job you all did on the sign! We love it, and my supervisor thought it was great.
Thank you, Lynda, for the shirts. I tried everything, and you were my last hope - she loved the shirts; nothing would have pleased her more.
